BMW to quit F1 at end of season

Recommended Posts

Not too surprising I guess.

The German car manufacturer, who took over Sauber in 2005, have cited "current developments in motor sport" as the reason for their pull-out.

They should have stayed with Williams, Williams is still competitive and with better drivers they would be on the podium.

They should just quit now, throw a hissy fit and admit that BMW just can’t build a fast enough car. Force India are faster FFS!

Next year is an all new Formula again isn’t it, can see why some teams are becoming very frustrated.

I agree Graham, but I guess they have a contract to fulfill which would be very expensive to get out of.

I have heard that they are going to divert their F1 budget into supporting the E30 Series around the world :D as it is better marketing for the brand, and generates more parts sales!
