jjs 64 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 Spotted this - coming up for auction on Aug 29. Estimate is $7k - $10k. Pretty sure this is the same car that has been discussed previously in the forums, but now has different wheels. Still, a good buy if someone can bag it for under $10k. The UR Quattro at the same auction is pretty hot - a bit dearer at $20k - $25k

e30plz 1 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 (edited) Definitley needs some spacers on it and/or different wheels, Otherwise isn't that bad an E30 IMO - I'd drive it. Edited August 19, 2009 by James~

uhlsta 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 (edited) It wouldn't look too bad if it was put toghether properly, and some nice BBS RS wheels with the right spacing! PS: Comments says it has a Schnitzer body kit, lol Edited August 19, 2009 by FleXturE
jjs 64 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 You are all bagging it and having a moan like a bunch of old women. If you are in the market for an E30, it could be a good buy. The estimate suggests that the reserve price is $8,500. Remember this is a manual 325i (with the added bonus of a schnitzer kit) - it is not rare to see dreamers on here (and TradeMe) wanting not much less for 318i and 320i autos... pjay 8 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 Agree with Crockett. With some Fluro yellow TE37's in 17x9 it would go off!
sp8s 1 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 If I had the cash If I was in Akl If I was in the market for a nice e30 I would be in (with a check by Glenn of course)
E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted August 20, 2009 I am really torn on this one, provided the kit has been well fitted and the rest of the car and mechanicals (had quite a list of goodies last time it was on TM) check out I could be tempted as it is a lot less than an E30 M3. Plus some cash for DTM stripes and stickers, wheels, etc. plus maybe a full cage and all out race car project. However, I have a feeling that it still won't satisfy my E30 M3 cravings, no matter how much cheaper it is and good a car it is....
e30plz 1 Report post Posted August 20, 2009 Im sure you could convert it to M50 & add some better wheels, and it'd still be a whole lot cheaper than an E30 M3.
