ED1RTY 2 Report post Posted September 1, 2009 (edited) Went with Ollie (Hi-Tek) Willie, (Savant) Laurence (oldschoolbmw?) and Dylan (Dylanm3) and also Eagle, sorry bro i've forgotten your name :S First time i've been able to get the Sierra around the track and even though it was wet we had a helluva lot of fun! Some pics courtesy of the guys over at GPforums. Will post more pics as the guys put them up.. The R32 GTR in the 2nd pic was pretty nuts.. Went straight off the end of the main straight, and from the guys that went in it, apparently it was lighting up all 4's on every part of the track. So much awesome! ED1RTY 2 Report post Posted September 1, 2009 Pretty bloody good. If you look at the last three photos you can see that i was getting the hang of it by the end of the day Had a few sideways moments and spun out x2 but managed to stay on the track

E30 325i Rag-Top 2959 Report post Posted September 1, 2009 People who take E30 M3s out in the rain should have them confiscated and given to owners who will appreciate them more and look after them ! Fair play to you for taking them out on the track in those conditions, i hope they all went home unscathed but suitably driven .
Old_Skool_Bmw 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2009 (edited) It was an AWESOME day!!! Glad to finally get my M3 out on the roads and give her a good drive around the track.. Only negative thing for me was my 4.1 diff was too short for the twisty Taupo infield but it should run better at Mansfield. I found myself hesitating between 2nd & 3rd most corners.. 2nd gear was 10-20kph slower than Ollie & Dylan in their M3's and 3rd was too low on revs exiting the corners. The 135i was super quick and so much COOL!! Nice drive back last night too!! No traffic on the roads (maybe the Wellington trains were working for a change LOL) Laurence Edited September 1, 2009 by Old_Skool_Bmw

crazyarab 6 Report post Posted September 1, 2009 Wiiicked! Best fun I have ever had on the track was on a wet day. Really helps you learn the limits of your car and how to react to them at much lower (safer) speeds .
