Driftit 2078 Report post Posted September 14, 2009 24L/100 in Dads E55 AMG towing the E30 with the worlds wrost designed trailer (dead Flat front like a wall). Thats down to Taupo. But the race car has never accelerated that fast before. And it's engine was off. Was great setting cruise control and not having to worry about hills and all that. CamB 48 Report post Posted September 14, 2009 (edited) I always got about 8 litres/100km driving the race car to the track. It came with free deafness. Edited September 14, 2009 by CamB

Driftit 2078 Report post Posted September 14, 2009 I always got about 8 litres/100km driving the race car to the track. It came with free deafness. Yeah I went back and forth in my one a few times during the weekend. Taking ear plugs next time. I had to actually speed a little to make it quiet. 90-110kph is its loudest range. pureboiracer 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2009 15.8l per 100k... thats better than my race car. it uses about 30-40l to get from wellington to palmy. Fuel economy... whats that?
Palazzo 477 Report post Posted September 15, 2009 34l/100km. Towing a 2 ton Haines with an '02 Legacy GTB. Ran out after 160kms on a full tank cruising. Mind you, the driver was not that clever with the throttle.
twisted 45 Report post Posted September 16, 2009 (edited) Worst i ever got was 45l/100km in a V8 Rangie Vogue towing a fully loaded tandem axle/braked furniture trailer from Lower Hutt to Paraparaumu Beach. Mind you, it was a well worn pig of a truck Edited September 16, 2009 by twisted
