Guest Simon* Report post Posted September 24, 2009 I think that's where Andy gets a lot of his news articles from. Could be something to do with the news article links on homepage perhaps?
Guest FrantiC Report post Posted September 24, 2009 tried clearing cache / cookies ? i've never seen it before.. I'd never stick my username or password anywhere BUT the website it is used for, very commonly people get sucked in with these sort of things, like MSN accounts get hacked this way by giving them your username and password. But I don't know what emgcartech is, so correct me if I am wrong.

Guest Simon* Report post Posted September 24, 2009 LOL That's why I didn't click it Try clearing all browser history, cookies, temp files etc. Some of you might want to think about a personal firewall if you don't already run one. Free Zonealarm is fine. And maybe run a spyware cleaner over your system like ccleaner

antil33t 90 Report post Posted September 24, 2009 (edited) It's not really a Popup, it's a authentication request.... It poped up for me once, then never again. ** ZoneAlarm is crap if you want to play online games, if not, it's pretty secure... nothing wrong with Windows Firewall Edited September 24, 2009 by antil33t
Guest Simon* Report post Posted September 24, 2009 ** ZoneAlarm is crap if you want to play online games, if not, it's pretty secure... nothing wrong with Windows Firewall to be fair, it's very easy to train or preset for online gaming. Would take, oh about 3 mins I guess

Guest FrantiC Report post Posted September 24, 2009 It's not really a Popup, it's a authentication request.... It poped up for me once, then never again. ** ZoneAlarm is crap if you want to play online games, if not, it's pretty secure... nothing wrong with Windows Firewall I never had any problem with it, and I did heaps of online gaming back in the day.. Call of duty, Steam games like CSS, etc. I currently use NOTHING. And never have spyware or viruses... Occasional scan with AVG once everything few months and spybot, never comes up with anything. Windows XP + no updates FTW.
