ED1RTY 2 Report post Posted October 12, 2009 (edited) The time has come to part with this car. Many members on here would have seen this car and know how well presented it is. I purchased the car from a member on the forum who meticulously maintained the car and this has not stopped in my year of ownership. The car hardly gets driven and i want to make way for a good future instead of putting all my hard earned $$ into a car that cant be enjoyed as much as I would like. It is a fairly rare car and always get a great reception wherever i take it. Even the american muscle guys at beach hop got wound up about it I have a box full of receipts from previous and my ownership with over 30k of preventative maintenance, cosmetic improvements (many new parts to keep it in mint condition) and small (read reliable) performance gains. No expense has been spared, oil changed every 3 months regardless of use with Mobil 1 fully synthetic. The car is putting out ~385HP and has never skipped a beat having only done 92-93,000 miles. All work completed by Roger at John Edwards motors. Specs: Factory Black (approximately 13,140 2WD produced only 50 in black). Factory Recaro Leather Seats. Carpet as new. Interior is mint. By sensible I mean $19,500+ Thought i'd post here first to gather interest, will hit trade-me in November. P.s: This car is not for the faint hearted Edited October 12, 2009 by KSMYRS

Apex 693 Report post Posted October 12, 2009 Such a nice car, that engine bay is pure awesome. Hard selling toys to fund sensible things but in the long run you will be happy you did, plenty more fish in the sea, just gotta be patient. Good luck. PS: Can I have a ride in it before you sell? Didnt realise it had that much power, that must be fun!

Guest Simon* Report post Posted October 13, 2009 I'll jump on anyone's run of the mill showroom thread for oversize pics but this is his 'for sale' pitch so I aint gonna tell him how to do it.
Braeden320 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2009 (edited) I'll jump on anyone's run of the mill showroom thread for oversize pics but this is his 'for sale' pitch so I aint gonna tell him how to do it. Maybe some clarifaction on rules then, As I can't see anywhere that the showroom is the only place you have to resize pics for? Examples of pics been to big and asked to be resized - Here Here Thread on how to resize pictures. Here Im not being anal nor am I trying to stir sh*t. I just like to see the same rules for all Edited October 13, 2009 by braeden.

martyyn 2 Report post Posted October 13, 2009 ^^Exactly! Funny how mods are quick to Delete photos and jump on people in other threads when they are massive but not this one. Yet there has been posts from mods in here..Hmmmm.. Whats with the 'bash the mods' attitude from everyone at the moment ?There are no separate rules for mods and yet people are getting all excited at the moment and having a go when they see an opportunity. For sale threads get locked when people fail to post either photos and a price or a trademe link. Do you have any idea how many people dont respond when their threads are locked or removed? Do you have any idea how many requests are sent via PM rather than on the forum ? Most of the 'public' complaints about size have been from you lot, not the mods. Photos are a particular problem at the moment and its been discussed several times already. Most requests are made via PM and sometimes misdemeanours slip through the net because either that person hasnt read their PM's yet or because the mods arent on here all day every day. Clearly this is a case where it just hasnt been noticed, not everyone views BS on dialup. Some of us have blinding fast connections and photo sizes just dont get noticed. So take pill and chill out and let us get on with running the place. If you dont like how something is being handled take it to Andrew, Ollie or Graham privately. fuzyfrog 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2009 (edited) The people who moan about large pictures could try using a proper browser that re sizes images automatically Like Firefox or anything that is not IE There is nothing worse than crappy low res pictures. The bigger the better. Oh and OT. This car is AMAZING. Im trying to justify buying it to myself. Edited October 13, 2009 by fuzyfrog
ED1RTY 2 Report post Posted October 14, 2009 The people who moan about large pictures could try using a proper browser that re sizes images automatically Exactly. Could the mods tidy up this thread.. I'll resize when i get home but as previously mentioned high quality photos when you are trying to sell something do help.
M325is 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2009 They arent particularly high res, they are just large in size. If I wanted to buy your car these images wouldnt do your car justice as I have to scroll about 500mm to the right to view it, then its just blurry as hell. Just letting you know what prospective buyers may see. Dont really matter anywho as they will be changed when you get home I use Google Chrome as IE and Firefox have failed to deliver.
