Call me. I may have to leave home earlier than expected to get there in time for competing. We have many many 327-eater hours under our belts on our side, so should be good fun. Edit: I shouldn't be such a smartarse. I can't find the regs either Em.
pjay 8 Report post Posted October 14, 2009 If I take mine into this is it going to get ripped to sh*t? Remember doing one out west in a mates CRX and it bottomed out like a stripper. Don't really want to go home with half the paddock stuck to my underside
2002 1 Report post Posted October 14, 2009 (edited) Can someone help the woman with a link to the supplementary regulations. Sorry - I thought the regs had been loaded on the web site. You will need, A car of up to WOF standard, doesn't actually have to have a WOF but then it will need to be scrutineered. A helmet A race suit or 100% cotton overalls (welders overalls are fine) Closed shoes & socks - no jandals You must be a current member of a MSNZ affiliated club, if you're not a current member email [email protected] and we'll see we can do. Affiliated Clubs Edit - I've checked with the comittee, we can join you up on the day if required. Must use road tires, no rally or snow tires. Under 18's must have a parent or guardian on site to sign the entry documentation. No passengers unless the car conforms to Schelude A (full roll cage). 2002 1 Report post Posted October 17, 2009 I've just been told that you'll also need a fire extinguisher in your car as well. I have a spare one I can lend but not a bracket for it. The weather is looking a bit marginal but we'll probably leave it until the morning before making a go / no go decision, check either the pcc website (links through to a google calender) or this thread before you leave.
