E36 Automatic Gearbox Set Set up NZ NEW

Recommended Posts

Still have the automatic set up that got taken out of the 328 when I had it converted to manual by HELLBM so it could possible be off some benefit to someone mayb on here or trade me perhaps.

Ray will no doubt confirm the millage of the car when it was removed and I believe the NZ New models have a better and different gearbox than the rubbish japanesse boxs that are rough as gutts.

Im going to semi break the rules and not put a price. So if your are interested I would prefer to just talk about it and work out a price that suits both of us from there.

Thanks guys.

$350

Sold mine for $200 after about a year.

The problem with a good reliable gbox I guess.

The guy I sold it to was using it in a 728. I never heard how he got on with it.

Good luck with the sale but you need at least an indication of price.

The old chestnut eh. You see them on TM for 750 and so thats its value but the only one you know to have sold went for 200 and took a year to have sold.

The rules are very simple so put up a price please. Even if its 'offers over' $xxx.

can anyone clarify if this will fit a M50 525i with a Jatco transmission?

I believe it won't. You would need to replace the trans computer as well.

no it wont fit . jatco and zf gearboxes are different lengths , so different drivehafts . also electronics are all different .

the ZF gearbox are a bit rarer so will take longer to sell , but will be worth a bit when it does as anyone how is trying to fix there nz new car will have to search hard and long to find one.

so just depends how long you want to wait .
