DRTDVL 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2009 (edited) Then theres chimaira.. Heavy as but that is pretty much what you hate  Music is great, could be heavier for what i'm looking for... lyrics are right on the boarder of what i'll accept but i couldn't listen to him for long before getting sick of it... In Flames... Maybe.. No? Not too bad but the singer ruins it a bit... too much screaming... Whitechapel, The Black Dahlia Murder = FANTASTIC but damm vocals Opeth isn't bad until the growling...  Edited November 12, 2009 by DRTDVL
e30ftw 410 Report post Posted November 12, 2009 Whitechapel, The Black Dahlia Murder = FANTASTIC but damm vocals Whitechapel is MEAN. For some reason I like the whole screaming thing, Some of it is unbareable but it's pretty sick.
Forrest 35 Report post Posted November 12, 2009 (edited) Blindspott, Bullet For My Valentine, Enter Shikari (if you like a little electronica thrown in)? They all have plenty of semi normal singing with no too much screamo. In Flames FTW Edited November 12, 2009 by Forrest
DRTDVL 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2009 (edited) Blindspott, Bullet For My Valentine, Enter Shikari (if you like a little electronica thrown in)? Really not a fan of those... I prefer my electronica mix more along the styles of Static-X Edited November 12, 2009 by DRTDVL
Forrest 35 Report post Posted November 12, 2009 (edited) I like quite a lot of harder punk / basically on the verge of metal since I don't like too much hardcore thrash metal, maybe try some good Kiwi music for size: Cobra Khan or Bleeders etcAlso, a little softer, but if you want less screamo and more mean tunes try these, some of my personal faves): Badass #1, APC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGhBu1sBICw Badass #2, Deftones: (basically the best song ever made)* In before SIRE30 comes and gives me a e-high 5 * Makes me want to start the metal appreciation thread that has been mentioned on here before Edited November 12, 2009 by Forrest

Kaz 64 Report post Posted November 12, 2009 Ahh I heard about that uncensored version. That would have been a fun video to make. Haha that video is great. Suprisingly it was one of the worst songs on the album I thought. Mehr is my favourite from that album atm.
