There is a 525ee at Turners in Auckland, damaged front and rear.

If you buy for the head, I would like the short block...

anyone know of a 2.7 eta head for sale??? poss swap for 325 head???

i have a access to a m20 2L head which is sitting on a 525e block at the moment . the guy will sell seperately

if your using 325i pistons dont use an 'e' head....they arent matched..not sure bout compression off the top of head

I'm not sure on this but i thought the 2.5 head was better than the 2.7 and when the 2.5 head is on the 2.7 block it gave you lower compression anyway?

ill scan and post up the article in TBMW about 2.7 builds...clears up a lot of confusion....sometime this weekend

you want a 2.7 block (longer stroke) .2.5 pistons (matches head shape)and a 2.5 head(bigger valves) 2.5 ecu ,manifold etc to get more power ..

you might have to machine groves in pistons for valve clearances (depending on which pistons the 2.5 had)
