Does it need to be replaced? No its pretty easy, unhook and unbolt from behind the glovebox and remove the master cylnder from the engine bay side. Jamez 2147483647 Report post Posted November 17, 2009 I didn't need to bleed the brakes when swapping the booster, all you have to do is unbolt the master cylinder, slide it out, unbolt the booster and slide it out, then put the in replacement. Having said that it, it takes some convincing to get the booster in and out as there is a limitation on space to move it in and out. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
