2x 205 45 17

Recommended Posts

I've managed to churn through another pair of sport maxx's. Note to self: Do something about negative camber.

Local price for Sport maxx's fitted is $245 incl. ea.

Toyo Teo is about $8 less.

Toyo Proxes 4 is about $220 incl. which I have been told are about Direzza level.

Any other recommendations before I spend $500 on Sport Maxx's again? (They're awesome tyres BTW)

Cheers.

I'll take two Johnno.

You wouldn't recommend anything else?

What should I be paying for fit and balance?

Cheers.

If you are happy with the Sport Maxx stay with them.

You shouldn't be paying more than $15-$20 for a fit and balance

cheers

IIRC, It was $12 per wheel at Tony tyre service last time I took a couple wheels there to have tyres put on them. Just tyre fitting and balance, I put them on the car myself..

That's cool. i think that's what I pay too. I was just interested on whether it was cheap or about right. I didn't think it was too much to pay.

I'm friends with the local tyre guy (we go fishing), but he told me he can't match Johnno's price and I should buy them off him. So I will.

I'm buying a battery off him and will get him to fit them anyhow.

Rather than start a new thread i think i'll just jump on Graham's band wagon.

Johnno, How much am i looking at for a 215/35/18, not to fussed about brand, so long as it's not crap (ie. fullrun) ,

I'm running 205/35/18 toyo's at them moment and they seem to be pretty good.

+100 to bravo on the negative camber, grrr
