KEY2 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2009 Schnitzer M3 Thinking of this car as a daily driver then converting to open series race car. Can anyone share any info on these cars. Not sure if this is a full spec Schnitzer. It was imported from Japan and bought by this guy in 2001 from Jerry Clayton BMW. Claytons have done all the servicing. Are the Schnitzer mods any good especially relative to going racing and track days? Any comments appreciated including those on price. Cheers Russell
Silver Fox 43 Report post Posted December 11, 2009 (edited) See this thread Russell http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=26245 I think he's a bit high with the price, somewhere closer to the start price would be about right. E30 325i Rag-Top 2957 Report post Posted December 11, 2009 In terms of bang for buck I feel the E36 M3 is the way to go for an Open Class car, with prices coming down all the time and lots of tuning goodies available for what is an already pretty capable base package. Docile 64 Report post Posted December 11, 2009 I took apart my front fender. and behind is solid frame and no holes goes directly into the engine that would make use of those vents LOL. is that a stick on or did someone cut out a hole and put it in? LOL bad taste IMHO

Thanks for the link Dave. Apparently he has recently sold an M Roadster to a guy in Christchurch. For someone who is into Motorsport BMWs he doesn't seem to know much.
