Time for a quick update

Went and saw Jono (JiB) today and picked up a PFL front lip from him (Cheers Jono). Came home and did a quick mock up with some cans to prop it up actual height will be about 1cm lower than this but over all Im really happy with how its going to look however Id still really like an iS Lip

Find a volvo 740 wagon front lip, flip upside down and mount it. I have and only the purists know the difference between it and a iS lip. Any general wreckers yard or a volvo wrecker would have them. Would be a small fraction of the price of a iS lip too :D I got mine for 9$ from pick a part.

The PFL lip on a FL looks mean though, I have rocked that before too on a old car.

Keep up the good work the wagon looks tits.

Here is a helpful thread: http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.ph...light=volvo+lip

740 Wagon 89-90

Here is a pic of mine with the Volvo Lip installed. You only just have to trim the ends to clear the wheel/line up flush with the wheel arch/valance. Just mounted mine with cable ties into the existing holes in the bottom of the valance after adding some small holes into the top of the lip.

I dont know if youve mentioned it before, but what offsets and tyre sizes are you running?

Actually not sure if I have either but for the record

They are:

F 16x9 +10

R 16x9 +0 (soon just waiting on spacers)

Tyres are Toyo Proxies PX4s 205/40/16 all round, really wanted 215/40 but hard to find in NZ

I know what you mean about finding 215/40! Only Hankook had them available when i got mine.
