_ethrty-Andy_ 2132 Report post Posted January 4, 2010 Um no. There is a second piece which only is needed for PS and A/C belts. If you have ever taken the front of an m20 apart you would know this. And the Alternator/ waterpump belt runs right off the crank wheel. Sorry bud. i have changed a water pump and all the belts before, didnt know the crank came apart though! e30ftw 410 Report post Posted January 4, 2010 There is the front crank wheel. This runs the alternator belt. There is another 2 infront of it, but that part is separate, which runs the other belts. You can take it off. Many times I have put the crank wheel back on without that front bit, which meant taking 6 bolts out and putting that other bit on again. Fuuuu.
