allan 295 Report post Posted January 8, 2010 Hi just completed an oil / filter change on the E39. Went through the steps as laid out in the Bentley but it wouldn't reset have I messed up or is their another problem. Steps I followed to reset Pushed the trip metre reset button ( left hand one) Turned the ign key to position one Reset SII flashed up Released button then repressed it END SII flashed up and I released the button Turned the key off Then turned the key on and started the engine but only the yellow service light was showing no green ones any help much appreciated Allan Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
