*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted February 26, 2010 Being accused of turning threads to "sh*t". I think it's timely I point out that I have a "duty of care" to members of the forum, to point out any potential problems in any of the threads that I might comment on, whether it be for sales, projects, WTB etc. If I can see a potential problem, whether it be misinformation, wrong or dangerous... I will comment... If i upset someone ... tough sh*t. However I feel that I'm not going to sit back and not say something. If you were a buyer or a person following someones ill advice and I later said I knew that was wrong... how would you then feel ??
dubman 39 Report post Posted February 26, 2010 I dont know why people say those things, from what i've seen, your posts are always insightful and are of good advice. Keen to meeting Glenn at a meet someday, as all of bimmersport members i've contacted, whether for parts or advice, are really nice and awesome to deal with. joshnz 2 Report post Posted February 26, 2010 For the record, I don't think I accused YOU precisely of turning said thread to sh*t - I was generally referring to alot of the threads lately that have been closed or just turned into one big mess. I was speaking my mind just as much as you were, I think there comes a time when certain people need to take a step back, in my opinion you can scare people sometimes with your suggestions for fixes, I view it as either its your way or the highway. Gone are the days of DIY for alot of people around here, not referring to build threads of course.

*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted February 26, 2010 (edited) Reality.... might scare some people.. I'm not going to sit back and watch someone get in the sh*t because I never made a comment. And you don't have to listen to me... Its never been "my way" or "no way".. I still listen & learn from others Edited February 26, 2010 by *Glenn*
