E36ShoppingTrolley 7 Report post Posted March 21, 2010 im 16 and after a year of hard work brought my first and dream car yesterday . a pre facelift 1987 E30 325i with bbs motorsport wheels, suspension, clutch, bodykit, interior etc.. the previous owner took very little care of it but after a valet has turned out very nice. only problems is the interior has had it.. there are a few stains on carpets and a few rips on the front two recaro bucket seats as well as drivers door lock doesnt work( which is a pain in the ass). i would like to restore this car to its former glory and as i am a first car owner would like to know some tips, and the best way to go about restoration. HELP PLEASE?

mark247 39 Report post Posted March 21, 2010 Hey. Welcome. The cars sounds like a good first project. You should come to the meet next month, you might learn a few things and get a few ideas from other peoples cars about what you want to do with yours. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=27775

325_driver 422 Report post Posted March 22, 2010 Well, since your new to this forum youl need to buy a bimmer sport sticker to add 20hp to your car, and check your dizzy cap, since it is the cause of nearly all problems. Lol and +1 for pics
