dirtydoogle 383 Report post Posted March 22, 2010 1952, side valve 120 miles on her. Small amount of rust in the sills. Reasonable body, and yes the indicators on the roof are a factory Lucas [prince of darkness] item. Completely original unrestored car =P Lovin' it.... Somebody nicked the dizzy cap! Pretty sweet ride don't you think? For a young chap....

QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2010 Ah, we had a "house paint brown" one of these babies... It had a manual crank, someone had installed a desk lamp into the engine bay, and it didn't work for more than two hours consistently. But it was OUR Morris. Loved that car! Good luck with yours! Yankus 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2010 (edited) That Morrie is cool, the morrie from the link is awesome, but about 10 years ago there was a morrie for sale in the auto trader that had a supercharged stroked 350 in it, 3 inch roof chop and was NZHRA certified with wheelie bars and I also believe was street legal on road tyres. That would have been awesome. Here's one thats V8 Turbo with NOS: http://photo.livevideo.com/photo/v8-morris...D6F57D26B8.aspx Edited March 28, 2010 by Yankus

hybrid 1044 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 We had one of these when I was a youngin ... sea green it was .. and I f**ked it by putting sand in the tank from my sand pit. Mum was stoked. It ruined the engine and she had to sell it. I was 2 years old. yours looks awesome! I would try to restore it back to mint if you can. It wouldnt take too much I wouldnt think in that condition! Oh and you _have_ to white wall it!
JaseNZ 53 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 (edited) Heheheh i used to have a Morrie 1000 myself one of the best little cars i owned. I even got snapped by a cop doing 120km but hey come on i could hardly ever get the thing over 90. Was my to and fro work car. Such a snap to work on and it never ever once refused to start or run and you could work on them with your eyes closed. No maf or wheel sensors back then lol. Oh needless to say i took the ticket to court and the judge laughed at the cop and agreed with me there would have been no way in hell i could have been doing that speed. Never seen them with the light on top like that though i must admit. Edited April 2, 2010 by M-Spec
