Parabolica 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2010 (edited) Howdy, I used to run the Classic Auctions at Turners for a while and my father for a longtime before that. They have no specialists in classic or race cars anymore hence their lack of knowledge. I have seen the car in person and was asked to find some more info on it. It appears to be a (well used) ETCC 320i from 2002-2003. As it is a etcc car it has the smaller brakes and a normal H pat gearbox. Having spoken to a few people at International motorsport who were asked to run it they think the best thing to do with it is the put in an M3 engine and enduro it. I understand the powerband is extremely small. It has no spares and some of the gear inside has been nicked ie computers etc. It looks like it may have gone on its roof at sometime and has been repaired fairly badly but I guess it is a race car after all! A huge amount of car but not cheap to run by any means. I understand that it is not able to be started. I still love it though...
