Was waiting till someone posted it up here.

Crazy cheap M3. Especially seeing 318 convertibles are still fetching 10k+ (their owners wish! )

Look how how many bloody personalised plates have been on the bastard!

Other than the colour, ours is otherwise identical. Our car is also NZ new, and also has a MPH speedo. I was once told by someone at BMW that the first shipment of M3 convertibles to come to NZ were UK spec, and I've noticed that each of the few NZ new M3 convertibles which have come up for sale since have had MPH speedos. Interestingly, the 3 litre M3 convertible was a one-year-only model, and there were only about 550 built in RHD. Quite a rare configuration.

Ours has done 115,000mi/184,000km and runs very well. If the red car has been looked after, it will still have a lot of life left in it.

KM aren't necessarily a problem.

I'd never buy an M3 without getting it checked. Too much that can go wrong which is $$$ to fix.

KM aren't necessarily a problem.

I'd never buy any car without getting it checked. Too much that can go wrong which is $$$ to fix.

Delete M3 add 'any car'.

True, true ... but an M3 has a whole lot of bits with ///M stamped on them and:

1) they cost 1.5-3x normal E36 prices (ex BMW); plus

2) they aren't available OEM, so you have to get them from BMW (adding another premium).
