Greg111 13 Report post Posted April 27, 2010 Done to death, although i can't find what i'm looking for in the search thingy. Ok, if i wanted to space my rims out on the E36 to get a certain "Stance", since the wheels studs are made to go through the wheel only, how do you over come this when there are spacers in between, i can understand when it's a Japanese car that has wheel nuts rather than studs, the spacers have other studs on them. Bigger studs or converted to nuts?

SIR E30 68 Report post Posted April 27, 2010 +1 on longer bolts. I got mine from an auto specialist shop, but you can get them from repco etc. They arent cheap though, about $7-$10 each
Greg111 13 Report post Posted April 27, 2010 Cheap enough for bolts, approx how much for the said spacers? (i'm just brainstorming at the mo.) I think a half inch is plentiful.
dubman 39 Report post Posted April 27, 2010 so 10mm or 15mm spacers? most 15mm i've seen are bolt on, but 10mm are mostly slip on. i chose slip on because its easier to sort out in terms of longer wheel bolts
