hybrid 1043 Report post Posted April 28, 2010 Ouch, thank god it was a newer model, an older one would have been a mess.Newer model with the suspension downgrade ? hmmmm lift off and unloading the rear in a front wheel drive over that hill = hit the barrier.I do hope all are ok from this. looks nasty. CamB 48 Report post Posted April 29, 2010 (the inner front is the one that takes the most beating around Puke for a Honda, and I suppose every other car) Really? I always wear the front left the most at Puke (admittedly RWD, but I'd expect no different on FWD). Pretty even on the others although I'd expect a FWD to mostly wear the fronts (and the rears not much at all). Either way, driver made a mistake (and most do sometime...) and its an unforgiving place to do that. Sh1t happens - its his mistake and his consequences. I'm not sure he deserves heavy criticism as I doubt he was being a d1ck when it happened.

crshbndct 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2010 i remember seeing an s2000 crash at taupo a few years ago, on the old track. there was a gag order about that one too, apparently the guys parents thought it was a road car accident and had no idea that he was tracking it. i had heaps of photos of the incident and the aftermath, but they were all taken down
