Confused - Same car different locations.

Just you, two totally different cars...check the number plates, they don't even match!

Are they really different companies? Not different branches of same company?

I've come across them a couple of times, they sell the same vehicles thruout NZ thru different branches, it's the same company.

they do that because some people search for cars localy and so if its listed in hamilton only, the people in christchurch wont see it in thier results, even though the company is happy to sell it via the Chch branch

It's NZ New Cars. They are a broker company, not a dealer as such. They sell peoples' cars on behalf, predominantly online through Trade Me. They don't have a dealer's yard. If you want to buy a car that they are advertising they will then broker the deal with the current owner. Kind of like a real estate agent.

They find some nice cars too, I have phoned them a few times about various cars that they have listed.
