Decided to take a photo of the car with the new wheels. This seemed like an adequate place to put it:

ASA - "licensed by BBS". I had to get rid of the 19"s as I was sick of paying more attention to the bumps in the road than the vehicles on it.

I think the M6 wheels really bring it out.

Great stance .....but would probably get destroyed on NZ roads :(

What offset are your new wheels darkwolf. Sit quite far in on the rear.

+25 on each - 5mm different than the standard wheels - but i think I need to go with a 0 offset and wider tyres at the back :)

Yeah my back wheels sit in a bit too far too. Was just going to go with bolt on spacers untill I can find some better wheels. Have knock off E60 M5 wheels at the moment

Yeah, I've been warned severly not to put spacers on - apparently amplify the infamous E39 shimmy. Though I've never been told why. Perhaps one of our more knowledgable members would know...

If its caused by the tyres being too far in / out then perhaps spacers aren't so bad.

You should see how bad my shimmy is at the moment. I can steer my car from the rear wheels. Haha. Getting all new bushes asap so the car hasn't been driven for 4 months.

But I can't imagine that spacers would be any different to a much lower offset wheel. As long as they are hub centric adapters.

Let us know if you find a replacement for the E60 knock off wheels man, might take them off your hands

Better wheels would be genuine E60 M5 wheels. Only set I know of are not for sale. <_<

I'm glad I kept my e39, even if it is a 2 out of 10. :)

Oh haiii who are you?

Make it a 10 then.

Yeah mine might be a 540. But it is a 2 out of 10 too. Paint on the bonnet and boot is rooted and some lady stoved in my rear quarter and wont pay. I also have 4 wheel steering.
