swordfish 30 Report post Posted July 5, 2010 (edited) A bit of the back ground information: Worn wheel bearings is a common problem on BMWs due to the way the actual wheel bearing is constructed. Usually, the car starts making weird noises (squeaking, wowing etc). The car will become less smooth, might get a vibration in the steering wheel and so on. If your wheel bearing is worn the main danger is that it can fall apart at any time and if it does, it will lock the wheel and you can end up somewhere where you definitely don't want to end up. So it is a good idea to prevent this by changing them before they have totally worn out. Genuine Lemforder two front wheel bearings and hubs. Made in Germany!
