Too easy!! Someone will make their car look insane with these i'm sure. Is that white E36 in NZ? If so I think I saw it pulled over on the NW motorway by Rosebank Road about 4 months ago with some sign writing on it perhaps?

pjay 8 Report post Posted July 5, 2010 (edited) stud pattern needs drilling.... Elaborate? Heres more with god knows what offset: Sean Williams M3 on the green BBS RS ET13's. Some shot's of a higher offset: Paul's on RS, not sure what offset. And a rolling shot, I didn;t even know E36's came in champagne!?? morerevsm3 7 Report post Posted July 6, 2010 Elaborate?5 X 114 does not fit BMW, BMW are 5 X 120 stud pattern
Driftit 2078 Report post Posted July 6, 2010 5 X 114 does not fit BMW, BMW are 5 X 120 stud pattern Since they require spacers you can have 5X120 adapter spacers made up. But IMO they are a horrible Offset, wrong stud pattern, not wide enough, not staggered. Better off on a FWD.

But IMO they are a horrible Offset, wrong stud pattern, not wide enough, not staggered. Better off on a FWD. Horrible offset and stud pattern fixed with spacers. Width and staggered'ness are also resolvable, they are 3 piece.
thorburn 121 Report post Posted July 6, 2010 Are these really 3 piece? aren't the usual 17' rs's 2 piece?

nastnas 9 Report post Posted July 6, 2010 just what has been previously said, BMW uses 5x120... adapters are an option tho, just not my cup of tea....
VeeDub 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2010 Are these really 3 piece? aren't the usual 17' rs's 2 piece? No such thing as 2 piece BBS RS, they're all 3 piece. Sure the stud pattern doesn't fit BMWs but the high offset makes them perfect for adaptors which would give you a nice final offset. Get some bigger lips if they're not wide enough! We in New Zealand are beggers when it comes to these wheels, and beggers can't be choosers! Try find a set of 17" BBS RS in 5x120 anywhere in the world! It's taken me 3 years to find my dream set of RS003s here in NZ!
pjay 8 Report post Posted July 6, 2010 so you would need a pair of each? pair for the front and pair for the back? No, you can choose. I'm just saying you have options to cater to whatever aggressive offset you would want to run. And Veedub is right, these wheels are rare in NZ. Nothing wrong with spacers if you do it right. bellicose 9 Report post Posted July 9, 2010 WTF? What's the matter, did it look like you weren't going to get enough so you withdrew them?
VeeDub 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2010 WTF? What's the matter, did it look like you weren't going to get enough so you withdrew them? No. I was advertising these on behalf of my brother and he has made a deal outside of trademe and asked me to withdraw them. They are going on a 1.8t vw golf mk3. Sorry to disappoint anyone interested. Would have prefered to keep my name out of this one Tristan
