Time for a new toy

Recommended Posts

Hi

Well it's been 6 months since my last Bimmer and I still miss the 540 and the C4 just seem to be lacking something ;) and the Tribeca is great for family trips.

Anyway was checking the watchlist and there's an e36 328i on it - think my wife is feeling sorry for me.

So not being shy to make the most of an opportunity have done a bit of surfing and now not sure if I should go old school e36 or try and get a e46 (needs to be a sedan with the kids).

I have spotted these contenders NZ new e36 or Jap import e46 and finally NZ New 318is

I look forward to your helpful advice as always

Out of the 3 ..I'd be looking at this one. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=306122230 It's well optioned and reasonable Km's. A mechanical warranty is a must when buying. Get it checked out first by a dealer or independant BMW specialist first.

I don't know why but I have never really liked the E36 sedans, I just think they lack some style unlike the coupe, but I understand it would be difficult to always get kids in and out of the backseat.

What about an E36 Touring? :D

Haha thanks Wayne - and far too long lol. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to sell a manual 6cyl coupe with low kms....! By the way do you still have e30 headers? May need to hit you up for another set in the near future.

Sorry for the thread hijack.....
