330itis 15 Report post Posted August 12, 2010 We have just bought a 2000 318ti for my girlfriend and it has a problem with the asc I took it for a drive and It spins up the wheels without a hint of asc, (light on dash doesnt flash either) I also cant "disengage" it with the switch, as in when I press the switch the asc light doesnt come on and nothing happens. The light does come on on start up. The person we bought it off says it did have a abs pump replaced at one stage. I dont know if this may be the problem. What I was thinking is they may have put a non asc pump in there? But then the warning light would be on. Is the asc a common problem?
