swordfish 30 Report post Posted August 31, 2010 Hello guys, Just wondering if any of you had any experience with Behr fan clutches? How good quality they are and are they actually good? I know that BMW clutches are made by Behr and they even have Behr logo on them, but I have heard there were allot of issues with those... thorburn 121 Report post Posted August 31, 2010 From what I understand the fans only had problems after they had aged. Plastic becomes brittle and goes bang. I can't see a new one giving you problems untill atleast few years down the track. Also a side thought I believe that engine mount sag can also cause the fans to destroy themselves.
