deeveus 81 Report post Posted September 14, 2010 lucky! they could fail a wheel alignment but the rest should be just a few 100 bucks worth of panel & paint.
Grant 4 Report post Posted September 14, 2010 The car stood up very well. That was a fairly good speed to have a tyre blow out!

Apex 693 Report post Posted September 15, 2010 Lol good call. Those tyre pressure monitors are a crock of sh*t, mine were never accurate on the E60 and the Megane’s don’t do anything at all…well most of the warning lamps do nothing at all Do they work for anyone? Mine got upset when I changed my rims from 18" to 20" thats the only time I've ever come across any issues. How do they measure a tyre with less air? Those tyre pressure monitors are a crock of sh*t, mine were never accurate on the E60 and the Megane’s don’t do anything at all…well most of the warning lamps do nothing at all Do they work for anyone? They have worked perfectly for me on my e92 335 and the e90 M3. They work using the ABS sensors which measure the rolling resistance and seem to trigger on the e9x when a tyre is about 10 psi down. I've had 3 punctures in the last 4 years - worked every time.
elmarco 56 Report post Posted September 18, 2010 My system is an aftermarket one with pressure sensors in the valves and has performed flawlessly. Well worthwhile in my opinion.
Greg111 13 Report post Posted September 19, 2010 I would have thought this vehicle was fitted with run flats? They don't explode when you get a puncture at speeds.
