After dozens of times telling her everything is on the otherside she still does it. It was like your short term memory isnt very good aye? and your trying to become a vet??? then it was like arr i hate your car, bah bah bah, im not going to drive it again. and i was like, no my heart attacks for me. score!!! she has her own car to drive. I think most euro cars have the indicator on the left hand side. At a guess, and only a guess, they are right ( road ) hand driving countries.It is a bit of a pain, because I regulary drive three cars/vans. Funnily enough, I have no problems with the BMW, but the other two if I'm in lar lar land or distracted, I switch the wipers on instead of indicating. bravo 34 Report post Posted March 29, 2005 yep - I had a euro ford escort with the left hand blinkers, and a euro ford sierra too. all euros seem to do it this way - I have been in mercs, fiats, citroens, and they all have the lhs blinkers. they are also more likely to have the elec window switches on the centre console instead of the fron doors like mst japs, and most also have the pull out lights-on switch instead of the twist type, and also some have foot pedal to control wipers aswell.
