westy 614 Report post Posted October 14, 2010 So yay! I have to replace the input shaft bearing in the ZF gearbox I have. What I want to know is how many bits are going to fall out when I split the casing open? Can I just open it or do I have to remove other pieces first? Guest Simon* Report post Posted October 14, 2010 In fact, if bits do fall out - chances are they weren't important and you can save weight by not putting them back in!

pureboiracer 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2010 just make sure you leave it atleast 3 months before you put it all back together, (gives you time to remember where everything goes...)
