hybrid 1044 Report post Posted October 30, 2010 m3 CSL was never sold into the USA. It will be a LHD european model that was imported
$toffz 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2010 I was really surprised at how hot the m3 ran compared to the jap cars.
M3_Power 636 Report post Posted November 2, 2010 I was really surprised at how hot the m3 ran compared to the jap cars. Wrong engine oil that's why (it's not even the recommended weight) Almost all Best Motoring videos are biased one way or another towards the domestic market cars. It's a Japanese thing. hybrid 1044 Report post Posted November 2, 2010 There is a interesting piece of footage that gives it away, you see the 360bhp lighter CSL almost scream past, then they cut away and you see the CSL mildy creeping up on it.
$toffz 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2010 Well thats pretty crap form then, was hoping for an honest comparison.
dirtydoogle 383 Report post Posted November 2, 2010 Best motoring international do like to....favor....the JDM cars. Some of the reviews are epic though, I quite enjoyed the early 90's supercar comparisons. R32 gt-rs and JZA80s gtos etc all being destroyed by the NSX, F355 and F40... The r32 gtr never did too great in their tests for some reason...Not as well as I expected.
|ncary 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2010 (edited) Interesting video... that Evo sure has a smart 4WD system, but look at the tires at the end hahaha They are very biased indeed. Just watched another video comparing a version 10 STI to an E46 M3, S4 and SL55 AMG in some 200kph slalom testing, the STI was apparently the best by far. And the M3 lost, was 20kph slower through the cones... Hmmm *vid in question (last half) Edited November 3, 2010 by Incary
hybrid 1044 Report post Posted November 3, 2010 Hmm yeah average ... looked to make up a bunch of excuses not to go over 180 in the m3 including backing off on the throttle a few times. ham
Apex 693 Report post Posted November 3, 2010 Welcome to 2004, where have you been? Best motoring is as good as Performance Car Magazine to Jap Fan boys.
