bravo 35 Report post Posted April 10, 2005 Welcome! The car looks nice - love the dished wheels and two-tone body kit. Almost think the chrome around the windows looks good because of that. I know it is becoming cliche on this forum and therefore less unique, but I think front clear turn signals, and shadowline window trim would make this car look badass. Like I said, it's becoming cliche, but thats because it looks so damn good. Godd luck with the car, and see you around the forum.

cainchapman 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2005 (edited) Great car. Nice to see another E34. Grant, it was at the BMWCC Taupo day. Parked down the far end by the Countess. Looking forward to lining up against you in a competitive event sometime. :thumb: Did you put the Powerchip in? If so, did it make a lot of difference. They say 10% increase roughly. Have you dyno'd it? Cheers Edited April 10, 2005 by cainchapman

Cheers I heard about about your ride at Taupo but I missed checking it outmaybe next meet we can compare notes etc Powerchip does make a diff thru the seat of your pants smoother idle feels more alive and slightly better mpg according to the trip computer. 96 or 98 octane only. Easy enough to install if you are computer savvy. Not dynoed yet. Check out my lady friends M3 convertible

cainchapman 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2005 (edited) I'll look forward to meeting you. I had a quick squiz under your bonnet with Paul at Taupo. We were actually comparing headers between your car and mine. What kind of l/100km are you getting with the auto? I managed to average 10.0l/100km from Taupo to Mt Maunganui the other day. Covered it in 1 hour 29 minutes. 6 gear most of the way and sitting on 110kph (unless passing). I only use 98 anyway, so the Powerchip is no problem. I just didn't want to spend a grand and find it didn't really deliver the claimed HP. Cilk Wurm, why would I want to open your flight-recorder?
