Recommended Posts

PC at work doesnt like websites that have a, lets say, two stage page loading thing.... for example: I come on here, click VIEW NEW POSTS, comes up "blah blah blah, please stand by while we take you to the pr0n/results"

thats as far as it goes, it doesnt load up to the second bit (lucklt on this site you ccan merely click the "or click here" bit and it works......

just wanna know if it's easily sorted, if so, how?

'tis makin it hard to access a few WORK RELATED sites, not to mention bordem filling porn, raagh

have had a play in the Internet explorer options, but yeah, hell I dont know what I'm doin.... lol

Err, have you tried anonymizer or if you use Firefox you can use a proxy server plug-in.

You might want to check for malware on your pc:

There are a few free tools out there which will search your registry and kill any browser nasties.

Let us know if you need more help. Or else format your HDD and reinstall everything :)

anonymiser sounds like an anonymous proxy server. That isn't going to help you here, but maybe in the future.

Try updating the malware finders that you have (as most need updating). Failing that, go to google and type in what the exact webpage is that you are being hijacked to and mention browser hijack and you may find a way to go into your registry and edit the right key.

uh, it's not hijacking me to anywhere or anything like that, it just stops loading pages, i.e: wont start loading the second part of the new post search etc.... hard to explain...

my bad... didn't read it properly. I personally use Firefox as well. You may just need to update your version of IE to 6. Easier just to download firefox and install :)

cheers, firefox worked a treat

Firefox is the shizzle

Just be sure you don't set the popup blocker to block popups on the sites that you want as that can affect certain sites but is good for stopping those unwanted ad screens which generally contain NWS material <_<
