Can't Upload Pics.

Whenenver I try to upload a picture as an attachment i get an error message:

" Upload failed. Please ask the administrator to check the settings and permissions"

Yet it used to work fine? Has something been changed? Am i no longer allowed to upload attachments?

but i think they have to be under a meg or less than a certain size to use the built in uploader. better to use an external photo publishing site and link

Says they have to be under 100mb. Which they are... i think...

Oh well, fixed thanks to windows live haha.

Go here and download the 'image resizer' from the column on the right side, does the trick very well.

They've changed the pic size you can upload, resize to the small size and you'll have no problems.

I'm having the same problem. My pic's only 137kb so i don't think it's a size issue. Same error msg as OP.

got it to work in the end by reducing the size further. wonder what the size limits are?

I got one to work at 800 x 600 in the end. So i guess it has to be within those? Perhaps yours was the right width, but too tall?

Admin changed it to either 800 wide or 800 high maximum because of people uploading huge pictures
