m325i 709 Report post Posted April 20, 2005 It was cheaper for me to get a pod filter instead of a standard pannel, so i did. I will post pics later. Thing i have notice after driving about 20km. -Revs a bit free-er -Slightly better engine responce -Slightly more power in higher gears at higher revs -Sounds lounder/better at higher revs -Idle a bit rough. Very slight pulsing when warm. (Is this a timing/mixture thing? have mechanic to see) Assuming the idle is fixable, i would definately recommend it. Nightmares included that the standard nuts that come off the AFM are too wide to fit on the adapter, so i had to take another car and buy some more. The pod hangs/drops down. I fixed this by cable ties to the bracket. The standard intake tube that comes off the headlight aims perfectely at the filter. Pics soon Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Tommy 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2005 I just got rid of my pod, one of the smarter things I,ve done. I put a k&n panel on it, idles smoother and is better at low speeds. Tommy 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2005 I'd go for a panel k&n, I got mine for $100 cos trade dizzy I'm trying to give my car the "stock minta" look so I took my pod off.
