Hello from new member

Recommended Posts

Hi found out about the club on Facebook.

Good to know that there are fellow enthusiast.

Can't seem to upload pictures, do I need to be authorized to do this?

I am a proud owner of

BMW E92 320i Coupé M Sport

6 speed manual, 2 litre, 1995 cc, RWD

0-100 km/h 8.10 s

Top speed 230 km/h (143 mph)

Kerb weight 1435 kg

I was very close to buying a Toyota Camry Hybrid.. for the sake of the environment and all...

My Boss told me off and pointed me towards BMW.

Never owned a BMW before, always thought that Japanese are just as good, previously owned Nissan Skyline R33, Honda CRX Delsol Vtec.

How could I have been so wrong.....

Simply put, Joy is BMW.... I have been converted.

Wow what type of BMW do you have! The picture of the Engine is massive!

This is a 2 litre 4 Cylinder engine, there is actually enough space to add a second engine~

Pretty to look at but lacks some M_Power!

Very sharp looking those E92 coupes. At least one car BMW has done right in recent years!

Yes it is very alluring~

I have been caught sneaking into the garage to bath it its glory~.

My missus was already used to it from my sports convertible~

now with the new BMW Coupe it is getting rather crowed in the relationship.

Here is a couple pictures of the Legendary "SIRCRX"

Honda CRX Del Sol SIR

5 speed manual, 1.6 litre, 1595 cc, FWD

0-100 km/h 8.00 s

Top speed 221 km/h (132 mph)

Kerb weight 1100 kg

Legendary eh. I remember that CRX from back in the day, good to see its still mint, did you build it??

BMW is nice, must be a good drive with a manual, trust me, the auto's are crap even when they are joined to bigger engines.

The CRX was built in Taupo, one of the first in the import scene.

This was even reviewed in a Magazine.

I picked her up in 2009, and she has seen better days.

Had major bodywork done, Mags refurnished, engines served...etc

Wonderful car in Summer, the kids goes wild when I retract the roof.

This is still one of the best sports coupe in the market, already a collectors car.

Nice cars, curious to know what the E92 goes like with the 4cyl engine? sluggish? or are the new gen engines good?

Very light on the pedal, still goes well in the city driving.

Very fuel efficient, I average about 8.5 Litre per 100kms

I feel that a car this size should at least have a 3000cc.
