it will be different but it will still be BMW (and good).One only has to drive one of the newer diesels to realise that BMW very surely have the turbo concept well in grasp.

I may have to grab a BMW v8 while i still can.

Not really a bad thing - more power, less fuel, less carbon dioxide for the trees...

But from a nostalgic point of view it is a little sad.

I've never been a fan of turbocharging.... It spoils the intake sound and muddles the exhaust note.

Couldn't agree more. Nothing beats the exhaust note of an N/A petrol motor.

I guess they can only hang their hat on the all rear wheel drive (bar Mini) lineup in their range
