FS: 18" BBS RS-II set of wheels & tyres for E39

Recommended Posts

Right - I bought these to put on the E39, but have decided I'd rather let someone else enjoy them.

Here are the details:

These are a genuine BBS RS-II set of 2-piece wheels.

Fronts: 18" x 8.5" ET22

Rears" 18" x 10" ET25 -----> check the concave!!

All centre caps included, as is the valve thing to screw in to pump up the tyres (no idea what that's called!)

Tyres:

Fronts: 245/40/18 - one Falken (5mm) and one Michelin which needs replacing.

Rears: 265/35/18 - both are Falkens with ~ 3mm tread.

What they fit:

These wheels are very hard to get here, as I'm sure you know.

They will fit an E39 perfectly, and an E38 with hubcentric rings.

Condition:

The wheels are in good used condition.

There is some curbing on two of the wheels.

One of the front wheels also has a very tiny buckle - nothing too major, and pretty common.

The finish is also starting to wear in some places, but would hardly be noticeable once on the car.

I'm just trying to be as honest as possible - check the photos, or come and see them!

Considering all this, they're yours for $1200.

I'll give this a few days before putting them on TradeMe - first in, first served!!

Pretty rare to get these up for sale.

Do you know how many times I've just had to talk myself out of these for the 540

Treat yourself Josh.... they'll look better than your current wheels, but without compromising the ride.

(But the little devil on your shoulder already told you that)

would these fit an edirty4? stud pattern and offset should be fine, just worried about the hubcentric ring thing...

My understanding is yes, with hubcentric rings.

Double check with someone like Zenetti.

Nothing to worry about!

The hub size of an E39 is larger than an E34 E36 etc...

So E39 wheels will fit the others, but E36/E34 wheels won't fit over the E39 hub.

And just because I found a photo - here is a nice E34 with these rims.
