headlight idea

got kind of sick of the standard E36 lights, so came up with this

Is it illegal to do that? modify the look of the lights? how would I go about making it look like that? get a sticker cut or what?

Sticker would be your easiest and cheapest bet, or you can get custom made moulding to go on it, like a lot of seems to be doing now, to make them round like mine .. heheh ... I like the looks of my lights, their pretty unique to itself ... I have the E46 Compact.

In terms of legility, i think it should be alright as long as your not blocking off too much light, but from what i can see you want to do it should be fine, to be 100% sure you should ask LTSA.

now i think about it... you could even put a mask with circles etc over your tails to make like an altezza look to them

Haha, speaking of tape, I saw at the AGM last night that someone with an E36 has taped their headlights using electrical tape to look like eyelids...truly was super ghey

there is a company that already makes this headlight thing

there is a e36 that park across my road with it some times

looks awful, why not get some eyebrows? if you really want to do something to your headlights

The E46 Compact isnt the most , shall we say the most stunning looking car from BMW, but I will say that Ali's car in black & with those wheels is one of the best looking compacts around & it just looks 'right'

( something that I wouldnt say of 99% of them )
