deeveus 81 Report post Posted August 30, 2011 CLK-55 AMG She's done some clicks since I owned it, I think I sold it with about 80kms suggesting the owner used it as a daily and what a daily! Awesome car, good price I think too alot of car for the money, I sold it for more than twice it's now asking price! I'd love to have it back - was my uncles, then mine and used at our wedding. Michael. 2313 Report post Posted August 30, 2011 Fantastic. I quite like the CLK range, an AMG version is very eye catching, especially in recent years. (CLK63!)
wms 1 Report post Posted September 1, 2011 Youd be doing your current garage a huge favour if you did buy it back!
deeveus 81 Report post Posted September 1, 2011 Spoke to the previous owner who I sold it to and he sold it for 13k, but needed tyres and an oil leak fixed - jaw dropping really. I mean, yes they do devalue but has to be the cheapest semi supercar for that money.

deeveus 81 Report post Posted September 1, 2011 It's sure dropped some value, I sold it for just under 50k and only 3 years later it sells for 13grand. Devaluation is a bitch!
jjs 64 Report post Posted September 15, 2011 Is that the one from Otago that was rebuilt when it was near new??
deeveus 81 Report post Posted September 15, 2011 Yup, had over 100k spent fixing it, it was 250 odd new, and worth about 200 when it rolled, no one in NZ could fix it, they had to fly a small team over from Deutschland to do the repairs - they used all genuine parts and you honestly wouldn't know it. Ofcourse, I only found out about it AFTER I'd sold it!
