Palazzo 477 Report post Posted September 13, 2011 This may be my imagination, but it seems that the clutch on the E30 (325i if that makes any difference) is suddenly taking up much closer to the floor, rather than closer to the end of travel. It may be my imagination, but I have a vague recollection that this is some sort of impending doom/repair. Any ideas?

Palazzo 477 Report post Posted September 13, 2011 Sigh. Thanks Glenn. Master and slave were replaced a few years ago, so likely them again or a line somewhere?

Hopefully...if it was a worn clutch plate or broken pressure plate diaphram it would be engaging high and or slipping
