Forrest 35 Report post Posted December 11, 2011 As above, anyone know where you could buy these, for protecting the paint work when leaning over the car when working on it, seen plenty of US stockists but I expect shipping would be an arm and a leg. Cheers for the help. Nathan

_ethrty-Andy_ 2132 Report post Posted December 12, 2011 got any old speakers lying around? use an angle grinder to cut them in the middle and take the cone off those and use the big disk on the otherside as magnets, and then use an old sheet folded in half. those magnets are strong as and you need to put a bit of muscle behind them to pull them back off which is what you want. i have used those for years after i discovered how strong they were at highschool back in the day but if you want to be a consumer with money burning in your pocket, then repcos and supercheaps have them
Forrest 35 Report post Posted December 12, 2011 Got a Powerbuilt one from Repco $40 bucks. Rather not use the DIY rough route for something like this, the car is too nice to skimp on. Cheers everyone for the help
