Gaz 1059 Report post Posted March 8, 2012 With a little stretch and a lil roll, yes. http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3235 - about half way down.

They look good but a pity it is not legal to do that here. A 215/35/18 can legally go on an 8.5" wide max. You would have to go to a 225 rear tyre to be road legal

zenetti 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2012 Doesnt proof of manufacturers max width override the lvvta rules? or just wives tale? That was using a manufacturers max width (Toyo) . I have not come across a 215/35/18 from any manufacturer that recommends them on a 9" wide rim

Might have to be a little more aggressive on the guard roll.

I would go 205/40/18 and 225/35/18, then you can have your stretch and be legal

Guest Simon* Report post Posted March 8, 2012 ^Is this what happens when you curb one of the work E60's Sam? They take the rims out of your pay and force you to get your money back?
