Yea painting the rear guards is next on the list, its good from far but far from good. It drives alright, dosnt track at all, has plenty of camber so it probably drives like a 235 on the back.

The bumper I got from the States, the trim on the bumper is shadow the trim on the doors and rear bumper is the black chrome combo :(

Love it!

Front needs to come down a smidgen though.

look at the front tyre...I don't think so. That's as low as you would want without ruining the ride.

Front lip....will sort that.

If anything it looks too low. I scrape my lip all over the place.

Hows the ride John?

I would personally raise the rear to match instead of dropping the front, would be more practical and balance the look of it properly.

Nice car though :) good stuff .. nice to see another 5 modded.

You misunderstand me.

The wheel lip to arch gap is too high compared to the rear, so the rear needs to come up then I guess.

aye?

I didn't misunderstand - you said front need to come down.

You mis-worded your comment.

But you are right. Raising the rear will balance the stance out.

The front tyres only just clear the guards how it is, if it was to go lower it would need coil overs, other wise it would be hard on what is left of the front bump stops.

The rides pretty good considering how low it is, the rear bumpstops would ideally need to be trimed another 5-10mm to give it a bit more travel.

I want a Hamann front lip like yours! Is your original or replica?

quality rep. Real are ridiculously priced.

careful tho. I've already been through two. Yours is lower in the front so might pay to buy a couple.

Sweet, are they a fibreglass or plastic item? Two sounds like a good idea, "his" & "hers" items, gurauntee wifey will smash it to bits at the supermarket :)

cheaper is fibreglass. Which is still pretty strong.

Other is CF. CF will take more work if you want to paint it as you will need to sand / prime.

I did one in the Tauranga mall carpark by hitting the little concrete curb at the end of the park, the lip wasn't high enough to clear it.

I scrap on most steep driveways. Yours will be worse.

So now I have the one on the car and a backup for when I smash it.

Looking good! Ild leave it as is (with out that fiberglass thing) or go 20mm lower in the front IMO.

Bring her up to the Auckland easter meet!

That lip is nice. To be honest though, yours doesn't look low at all, do you really scrap it?

I barely scrap mine here and there and is alot lower, different front end mind.
