Jimocles 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2005 some f**ker did a nice smash and grab on my car. my own fault for not putting my briefcase in the boot, it was the old I wont be long one of my mates spotted it and rang me, rushed back and how well we all know that sinking feeling. Getting a new window today, took a while to find one, no dealers had any big ups to Smith and Smith, also Pioneer insurance, just told them what happened, they said here is your claim number get it into smith and smith and we'll sort it. as simple as that, no excess either. very impressed. Police, about as much help as you'd expect, didnt even give me a complaint acknowledgement form, we'll post it to you, I'd rather have it now please. No!, uh ok then. sucky bit about my laptop, just had my tkr hotlap photos in it at least I still have the negatives. and everything was backed up. Carl 3 Report post Posted July 21, 2005 That sucks hard man, and here's me thinking Wellington was a considerably safer place than Auckland Man i've love to whack these low lives, but you know it's just school kids with the holidays and all, oppurtunists that'll never be caught cause the fuzz just don't chase them up. Anyway, as above, where'd that happen? I know the riverbank carpark in Lower Hutt is a cesspit during the holidays for the hutt valley scum.

Williams BMW 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2005 There's some w*nkers about all right. Last year had my 325im stolen out of my driveway, had it warming up while I ducked inside to brush my teeth before going to work. Rang the police straight away. 2hours later they rang back to say they've pulled over the vehicle and arrested someone. Only damage was where they ripped out the cd player, amature job. *NAME DELETED BY MODERATOR* was the dirtbag convicted. A**hole. Also my Bighorn was broken into twice while parked outside my previous house. We need more constable 'A's to sort out some of these people.
Williams BMW 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2005 I posted the name of the person who stole my car. He was caught. He owned up to doing it. He appered in court. He was convicted and got a slap on the wrist. He was named in the newspapers. Name supression sucks.
