WTB: E30 Manual Gaitor - Plastic Frame

I have the actual Leather Gaitor, but I need the plastic frame this fits on to.

I guess it looks a bit like this one

ie: plastic clips at the bottom, which pretty much one of the new ones come with (Plastic surround)

Just buy another whole boot with surround, the plastic bit is glued on so I don't think it's sold as a separate part.

Yeah the boot I purchased didn't come with it.

annoyingly they all show the plastic surround in the pics on ebay, but then in the description (Plastic surround not included) heh

Nice, i found one with the plastic base for $15 USD.

However, it says 1986-1988 325 thru 08/89 E30, being a SA import its hard to work out when mine was made, all I know is that its 1989, does anyone know what changed after 08/89 ? as theres another model listed, looks the same..

Nevermind, I worked it out, mines Feb 89 as per http://bmwfans.info/vin/decoder/?decode=0922655
