qube 3570 Report post Posted November 21, 2012 (edited) I had a e46 328ci years ago, then most recently the e36 in my signature. Been looking for a 330ci 2000-2003 pre fl, msport, suede seats, sunroof, multifunction, and most importantly not silver! But haven't found anything good yet. Came across a tidy e36 323i coupe and very tempted to get that instead. I know it's my personal choice at the end but what's everyone's thoughts? Wait it out for a nice E46 or go with the e36? Edit: currently no car as my temporary 318ti had gearbox issues. (will look at selling this as is if anyone interested) Edited November 21, 2012 by QUBE

qube 3570 Report post Posted November 21, 2012 Surely..... I don't mind leather instead of suede, no buttons on steering wheel, no sunroof okay too... But seriously no msport ones in black or grey, all silver

jeffbebe 1559 Report post Posted November 21, 2012 This looks a good deal on paper - http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-534169506.htm - if you can live with white. Or blue - http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-533291067.htm Or red with low kms - http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-526657195.htm Personally I prefer the 330i as I like bigger cars (plus I've got a littlun in a baby seat!) but most of them on TM are silver! Michael. 2313 Report post Posted November 21, 2012 Well the E46 is a nice evolution of the E36, being a bit more modern etc, but I feel they gained a bit too much weight and loose a bit of the light weight edge the E36 have. Ultimately it depends how much you want to spend.
qube 3570 Report post Posted November 21, 2012 The white is nice, good price as well but I don't like facelift on coupes. But I do like FL on sedans. Picky, I know. Blue one is cheap for what it is but really looking for msport, same for the red one. I wouldn't spend more than $15k on a e46 unless it was an m3!! I've looked at every single bmw on Trademe between 2000-2004, Sedans and coupes, I saved about 5 on watch list. Nothing amazing though. Really leaning to the e36 at this stage.
